7 SIGNS THAT HE IS INTERESTED IN YOU

So you met this wonderful guy and have gone on a couple or more dates with him. Now you are convinced that you have fallen head over stiletto heels in love! In fact you are so in love that you have gone way into the future, married him, had his kids and are living happily ever after… the only problem is that this fantasy keeps getting interrupted by the nudging doubt that he just might not be interested in you enough to make all your dreams come true.

Fret not. Here are 7 tell tale signs that say he’s interested in you:

1.     HE CALLS YOU. This made top of the list because it is the most important. Ladies, if a guy is half way interested in you, he will want to make contact with you by either calling or texting you. If you call him three times in a day, he should call you six times. In other words, he should call you at least twice more than you call him. If you are the one always initiating contact then you need to pause and realize that the only thing you are  achieving is reducing your worth so back off and let him come to you (if he will). If he isn’t calling or making some sort of contact then perhaps he is not that interested in you. What to do? Shrug it off and call NEXT!

2.     HE REMEMBERS EVERYTHING YOU SAY. Isn’t it extremely annoying when you spend time in a conversation with a guy you really like, divulging information about yourself in great detail for instance about your childhood experiences only for him to forget and ask you some other time, “so tell me, what was it like growing up?”. Guys get easily distracted so while you are busy talking your heart out, he might have been more occupied with thoughts ranging from what you look like outside your clothes to the football match he’s going to watch later. When a guy makes the effort to not only listen to you but also remember everything or nearly everything you say, it is a sure sign that he is interested in you.

3.     HE FINDS EXCUSES TO TOUCH YOU. Guys are generally not big on words. A guy might not tell you how much he enjoys being close to you but he will show you. He will find excuses to touch you for example, he could compliment a bracelet or wristwatch you are wearing and ask to take a closer look in which case you would have to give him your hand. He takes your hand when you are out just having fun or puts his hand on the small of your back when he’s holding a door open for you. Those touches are his little ways of telling you that he is physically attracted to you and is curious to know what you feel like. If you are out on a date with a guy, and he’s walking and perhaps fiddling with his phone with a wide gap between the both you, that could mean that he is not really interested in you and is probably a bit embarrassed by you.

4.     HE BUYS YOU GIFTS. This is as important as him calling you. The gifts don’t necessarily have to be expensive at the initial stage of your dating but if a guy is interested in you, he will buy you thoughtful gifts like your favorite book or CD, or your favorite snack because he is trying to show you that he is a caring person who is willing to share with you.

5.     HE WANTS TO INTRODUCE YOU.  Have you ever been out with a guy who ‘forgets’ to introduce you to his friends when you happen to bump into them? That’s a red flag right there. A guy that is interested in you wants his friends to meet you because he wants to show you off to them, he isn’t embarrassed by you. Are you dating a guy who would rather just stay indoors than risk being seen with you by anyone he knows or when that does happen, conveniently ‘forgets’ to introduce you? Then you need to have a re-think and take steps to make changes like finding someone who considers you to be quite a catch.

6.     HE CANT SEEM TO TAKE HIS EYES OFF YOU. Guys are very visual; they like looking at things they like. If a guy you are dating likes you, you will always catch him looking at you because he’s probably wondering how he got so lucky to have met someone like you.

7.     HE TELLS YOU. Guys are not the most vocal people, so when a guy tells you that he is interested in you or that he likes you then it is most likely that he does. That way you won’t have to keep wondering what his true feelings are, and your fantasy can start becoming a reality!
