500g Beef (shred)
3 Eggs
1kg Tomato Sauce
6 sheets of lasagne pasta
100g washed spinach or parsley
200g Mozzarella Cheese (shred)
Salt, Pepper, Maggi (to taste)
METHOD
· Whisk together the beef, eggs, salt, pepper, maggi until smooth
· Spread 1/3 of the tomato sauce over the base of an oven proof dish, top with lasagne sheets and half of the spinach or parsley leaves.
· Spread another 1/3 of the tomato sauce over the pasta and cover with lasagne sheets.
· Place the remaining spinach over the pasta and spread with 1/3 of the beef mixture, then top with remaining pasta sheets.
· Spread over the remaining tomato sauce and the remaining beef mixture. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese o top and bake in a pre heated oven at 170C until golden brown in the oven for 45 – 55 minutes, ensuring pasta sheets are cooked.
· Allow to sit for 10 minutes then portion and serve.
