Ingredients
Dough
1 1/3 cup Water
½ teaspoon Salt
4 cups Flour
1/3 teaspoons Oregano (Optional)
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 pack Dry Yeast
1/3 teaspoons Garlic Salt (Optional)
2 tablespoons Olive oil
Toppings
Tomato sauce
*toppings to your taste
Mozzarella Cheese
Procedure
1. Stir dry yeast into 1 cup of water in a bowl.
2. Add olive oil and sugar to the yeast mixture.
3. In a separate bowl mix flour, salt, (oregano and garlic salt [optional]) together.
4. Place 1/3 of the flour mixture in the yeast mix.
5. Add the remaining cup of water and then the remaining flour mixture.
6. Knead until smooth and leave in a bowl cover with a cloth or cling fling and let it rise for 2 hours.
7. Re-knead the dough again for 30 minutes then grease a bowl with olive oil and place the dough inside and leave to rise for another 30 minutes.
8. The risen dough can make two large pizza’s or 6 small pizza’s.
9. Stretch the dough into a circular form and place on a pizza tray.
10. Use olive oil to grease the edge of the dough and spread the tomato sauce all over the pizza dough.
11. Grate and sprinkle mozzarella cheese all over the dough.
12. Depending on your topping, sprinkle it on top of the cheese and top
it up with a little more cheese. (Do not over crowd your pizza with toppings)
13. Bake for 20 – 25 mins at gas mark 205 C.
14. Slice the pizza into 4, 8, or 16 pieces.
