Did You Hear About The Food Budget In Aso Rock?

Our Mr President's N992m (almost N1billion) budget for food himself and Vice president has been condemned by many Nigerians. This they say is "Feeding Allowance".


This is very ridiculous. Mass are starving, many roads are bad, no light, removal of fuel subsidy, rumours of fuel scarcity, imposition of new plate numbers & driver's licence and many more and all Mr President can think of is food allowance of N1billion? See breakdown;

• N477m  - foodstuffs and catering materials supplies for the president’s office
• N293m will be spent on refreshment and meals for the president’s residence and office.
• N45.4m is also earmarked for canteen and "kitchen equipment" for the president’s residence. and for VP,
• N104m for foodstuff, catering and materials supplies ,
• N6.2m for cooking gas and cooking fuel
• N20.8million for refreshments and meals at the VP’s office and residence

Then separately, another N45.4 million was reported to have been allocated to purchase of kitchen and household equipment at the State House.

Lekki Toll Gate - Where is BRF?

If you did not pass through the Lekki-Epe expressway yesterday you will not understand the magnitude of this problem. There was serious traffic yesterday caused by the kick off of the tolling in that area.

Many worshipers went late to church and some even missed services because of this. As if this is not bad enough, the toll fees are very ridiculous; fees that requires you scouting for change. Imagine the fees:

N50 - Motorcycles
N80 - Commercial buses (Danfos)
N120 - Saloon cars & tricycles
N150 - SUVs, minibuses and pick up trucks
N250 - Light trucks
N350 - Heavy trucks and buses

Protesters came out at about 10am this morning but Rapid Response Squad (RRS) were there to disperse the crowd. I was told that not fewer than 18 people were arrested.

How long will this continue? BRF what say ye on this matter?

Tosyn Bucknor Involved In A Car Crash

Tosyn Bucknor, a popular radio presenter on Top Radio 90.9FM was involved in an auto crash yesterday morning. She has all cause to give thanks to God as she survived a car accident in the early hours of yesterday.

Her car tumbled on the third mainland bridge after it had skidded and hit the culvet; this was a result of diesel which spilled on the road hours earlier.

We thank God she is very fine and only minor injuries were sustained.

The E! Host and a co-host on Fashion Police, Giuliana Rancic, decided to have a double mastectomy after lumpectomies failed to eradicate her breast cancer.

The surgery was on tuesday and she's stil undergoing recovery.

"She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes," Bill said.

Update on the AGN War - Segun Arinze Speaks

Segun Arinze reported that the forth-coming elections will still hold and will only come up sometime next year. No definite date yet. He also claimed that the delay was not because of any court order as rumor had it but that the Electoral committe are still trying to put things in place. On the other hand, , Emeka Ike had earlier secured a court order restraining Segun and the rest from conducting the election which was previously slated for November. At the moment, Emeka Ike seems to be the one laughing now

Senate Approves Bill that Legalizes Sodomy and Bestiality in U.S. Military

The Senate on Thursday evening voted 93-7 to approve a defense authorization bill that includes a provision which not only repeals the military law on sodomy, it also repeals the military ban on sex with animals–or bestiality.

So the bill has been passed and American soldiers can have sex with animals now.

This is very sad and disturbing.....Wonders they say shall never end!!!
