Did You Hear About The Food Budget In Aso Rock?

Our Mr President's N992m (almost N1billion) budget for food himself and Vice president has been condemned by many Nigerians. This they say is "Feeding Allowance".


This is very ridiculous. Mass are starving, many roads are bad, no light, removal of fuel subsidy, rumours of fuel scarcity, imposition of new plate numbers & driver's licence and many more and all Mr President can think of is food allowance of N1billion? See breakdown;

• N477m  - foodstuffs and catering materials supplies for the president’s office
• N293m will be spent on refreshment and meals for the president’s residence and office.
• N45.4m is also earmarked for canteen and "kitchen equipment" for the president’s residence. and for VP,
• N104m for foodstuff, catering and materials supplies ,
• N6.2m for cooking gas and cooking fuel
• N20.8million for refreshments and meals at the VP’s office and residence

Then separately, another N45.4 million was reported to have been allocated to purchase of kitchen and household equipment at the State House.
